Problem with event view details

Is there some kind of trick to using an event view in the console?
When I try, I get the event list in the upper right pane, but the
lower right details pane almost always says "Loading..." Occasionally
the details will flash by for about 1 second or less, and then it
returns to "Loading..." I don't even understand why it trying to
refresh the details for a particular event. Those will never change.

Finally found a solution to this after calling MS Premier. These reg
keys disabled the auto refresh for event details. I asked why they're
refreshing event details at all, it's not like they ever change. They
had no explanation.

Create the following reg keys on the console client:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Operations Manager
\3.0\Console\EventQuery]
"PartialUpdate"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Operations Manager
\3.0\Console\CacheParameters]
"PollingInterval"=dword:00000002
