Event ID: 1000 Application Error on Windows 2008 DCs

Ever since last month's security updates we are getting the following on both
of our Windows 2008 x64 domain controllers - we use SCOM 2007 to monitor them
(if you stop the OpsMgr agent the error goes away).

Event ID: 1000 - Application Error

Faulting application cscript.exe, version 5.7.0.18068, time stamp
0x4822798f, faulting module wshom.ocx, version 5.7.0.18068, time stamp
0x482298da, exception code 0xc00000fd, fault offset 0x0000000000017747,
process id 0xd38, application start time 0x01c971f16efe1549.

We have a Windows 2008 x86 domain controller with SCOM 2007 agent but it
does not get this error in the application log.

This is happening every 5 minutes on these servers.

We engaged PSS on this issue and they right now are trying to repro it in a
lab. It is definitely the AD management pack that is causing the issue.

We have the excact same error in our environment.
But only on the Domain Controllers in the DMZ in it's own Forest.
We implemented a Gateway server with a certificate as member of the DMZ
domain.

Did your PSS solved the problem?

Thanks for your reply.

Has anyone got a fix of workaround for this.

This is what is posted already
