I have a SCOM 2007 client (windows 2000 terminal server) that is full
of errors in the event viewer.

In the Application log it's full of Perflib errors (every few
seconds):

"The Open Procedure for service "MOMConnector" in DLL "C:\Program Files
\System Center Operations Manager 2007\MOMConnectorPerformance.dll"
failed. Performance data for this service will not be available.
Status code returned is data DWORD 0. "

and in the Operations Manager log it's full of these:

"Performance data from the Health Service could not be collected since
required registry keys could not be read, the error code was "2L". "

I tried reinstalling the agent with no luck, anyone has other ideas to
try?

Hi Ben,

What account do you use as action account? Try use local system or if you
have a domain account, make sure it has all the needed permissions.

I'm using the same domain account on all servers for the action
account. It has admin rights on this server.

btw, stopping the Health Service doesn't stop the errors...

but if i use NT's exctrlst.exe resource kit tool to disable the
HealthService and MOMConnector perf counters the errors stop.
