Hi,

i want to create an event view of events from my sql server. Can I do this
with scom or is it possible only with events from "Operations Manager" view?

It's not entirely clear what you're looking for here. It is possible to
create an Event view scoped to only your SQL servers, or even to objectives
within your SQL servers (such as the databases or the MSSQLServer engines).

To do this, the quickest thing is to change the console view to your 'My
Workspace', then left click on the node tree to the left and select 'New >
Event View'. Then give it a name, change the 'Show data related to' field to
SQL Servers (or some object related), and click okay. There is a lot of
flexibility for you there.

Is that helpful?
